NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP WEEK 2019 IN BLACKPOOL
Follow our National Apprenticeship Week road trip, where we will be visiting many of our learners and employers in the Blackpool area.
Friday fun for National Apprenticeship Week
It been a busy but fantastic week on our road trip for National Apprenticeship Week. We’ve met loads of apprentices, employers and local people on our travels, and the support we’ve received for National Apprenticeship Week has been amazing.
On the last day of our trip, our first stop was a visit to managers and apprentices at Grasshopper Nursery in Preston. We were then delighted to catch up with apprentices Jasmin, Harriet and Joana at Poppy and Jack’s Nursery in Fulwood. Next stop was the Pristine Car Wash & Valeting Centre in Penwortham to visit Louise Pratt then onto Building Blocks Child Care to see Samantha Vickers.
Dynamic Childcare
GP Strategies Kirsten Beardsworth delivered some Paediatric First Aid certificates to learners at Dynamic Childcare in Oldham – well done to all for passing with flying colours including Zahid Mir, Hamza Suleman, Sophia Magness and Ashley Magness.
Competition winner
Congratulations to our Friday winner Margaret Byron who spotted us at Preston North End’s Deepdale Stadium, in front of the 'The Splash' statue, which celebrates the city and club's most famous son, Sir Tom Finney. A fitting end to a great week!
