SCOTTISH APPRENTICESHIPS WEEK 2019

Scottish Apprenticeship Week, a week-long celebration of apprenticeships, ran from 4th to 8th March 2019.
 

The annual event aimed to raise awareness across the country about the value of modern apprenticeships to employers, individuals, local communities and the economy.
 

This year’s theme ‘Skills for the Future’ was at the heart of what apprenticeships are about and saw apprentices, employers and training providers come together to showcase how modern apprenticeships and work based learning provide the skills needed for a successful Scotland.
 

During the week, GP Strategies will be hosted a number of events and activities to celebrate the benefits of modern apprenticeships. We shared success stories to help inspire people of all ages and backgrounds, and employers of all sizes, to recognise the importance of investing in our workforce and to seize the opportunities apprenticeships offer.
