This programme is ideal for individuals starting a career in customer service or to develop and upskill employees already in customer facing roles.
SVQ in Customer Service at SCQF Level 5
There are no formal entry requirements although candidates need to have the commitment and aptitude to achieve all elements of this modern apprenticeship.

Combines both work-based learning and experience with intensive instructor-led training courses to build and develop relevant industry skills.
Dedicated account manager and training consultant to support employers and apprentices throughout their modern apprenticeship journey.
Regular one to one workplace visits.
Flexible and innovative training methods geared to different learning styles.
After completing this modern apprenticeship, employees will have the skills, knowledge and behaviours to take on a wide range of customer service roles. They could also progress to a Customer Service Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 6.
Funding and financial support
Skills Development Scotland will contribute towards the training costs. For apprentices aged 16-19 years, apprenticeship training costs are 100% funded. For apprentices aged 20-24 years, a proportion of the training costs will be covered with employers meeting the rest.
