Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements although candidates need to have the commitment and aptitude to achieve all elements of this Modern Apprenticeship. It may also be useful for candidates to have achieved the Business and Administration Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 5.

Programme overview

After completing this Modern Apprenticeship, employees will have the skills, knowledge and behaviours to take on more high-level tasks within their department. They could also progress to the Business and Administration Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF at Level 8 or qualifications in another area such as Management.

Funding and financial support

Skills Development Scotland will contribute towards the training costs.  For apprentices aged 16-19 years, apprenticeship training costs are 100% funded. For apprentices aged 20-24 years, a proportion of the training costs will be covered with employers meeting the rest.
