AAT ACCOUNTANCY MODERN APPRENTICESHIP - SCQF LEVEL 6
Who is it for?
This programme is ideal for individuals starting a career in accountancy or to develop and upskill existing employees.
Diploma in Accounting at SCQF Level 6
Candidates should have achieved either an Accounting Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 5, Higher Accountancy at A-C or two Highers in other academic subjects (grades A-C). Experience in a work setting and good communication skills are also desired.

Combines both work-based learning and experience with intensive instructor-led training courses to build and develop relevant industry skills.

After completing this level, the employee could move up to the Accounting Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 8.
Funding and financial support
Skills Development Scotland will contribute towards the training costs. For apprentices aged 16-19 years, apprenticeship training costs are 100% funded. For apprentices aged 20-24 years, a proportion of the training costs will be covered with employers meeting the rest.
