MAIDSTONE CENTRE OPENS DOORS FOR BUSINESS
We were delighted to officially open our Maidstone centre to local businesses, apprentices and His Worship The Mayor, David Naghi on Monday 5th March.
Trayciegh Hendy, the South East’s Regional Delivery Team Manager, welcomed the guests and provided an overview of GP Strategies and how we will be helping local businesses improve performance and build a skilled and committed workforce through apprenticeships.
Digital Marketing Skills Coach, Sarah Theodorou gave an outline of the programmes we offer, and the various roles and responsibilities of learners and employers during the apprenticeship journey.
We were also thrilled to hear from two former apprentices - Patrick Cantellow and Thomas Fishenden - who gave enthusiastic and informative talks on their route and reasons to becoming an apprentice.
The event provided a great opportunity for guests to ask a broad range of questions about apprenticeships and apprenticeship levy funding which continues to be a hot topic.
It was also wonderful to meet a mother and daughter referred from St Augustine’s School to discuss Business Administration apprenticeships!
Thank you so much for all who attended and we look forward to working with you in the future!
